The new quality from Moravia

arte vini is a start-up company with the goal to offer wines of the Moravian-Czech viticulture tradition with modern characteristics and in contemporary quality. In the choice of wine varieties we concentrate upon the elementary strengths of the region, the Grüner Veltliner and the Zweigelt vine that prosper particularly well there – above all in the area around Mikulov.

Mikulov (Nikolsburg) and its surroundings

The Nikolsburger Großlage is dominated by the nature reserve of the Pollauer mountains - "Pavlovske vrchy" - the last foothills of the Limestone Alps. The geographical position, the Pannonian influence on the climate and the diversity of the soil offer ideal conditions for wines typical of the variety with profound territorial character. Lime, sand and deep loess grant distinctive mineral notes. The climatic advantages of the region are reflected in the fine fruit of the artevini wines.
